BatteryCare is a Windows software created to optimize the usage and performance of the modern laptop's battery. It monitors the battery's discharge cycles and also helps to increase it's autonomy and improves its lifetime.The software accurately records the advanced algorithm when a complete discharge is performed. A notification balloon pops up to remind that a full discharge is required when the configured number of discharge cycles is reached. When in battery mode, the notification icon shows the remaining time and percentage of battery. For laptops that don't support the battery time left information, BatteryCare calculates the statistical remaining time and list the charge percentage. It also shows all the detailed information about the battery, such as wear level, capacities, consumption, manufacturer, etc. You can choose the power plan you prefer but it depends on the power source of the computer. The software also automatically disables the graphics accelerated theme in Windows Vista or demanding services that degrade battery lifetime but will be restored once power source from outlet is used. The program is self-updating hence no need to download and install new version. It only consumes 0.1% of Processor and Memory resources so it doesn't slow down your laptop.
